Insurance, right. The rich people who don't exactly need it because they live in swell homes that keep them from colds, and enough money to see doctors without having insurance. The poor people who can't afford it because they're poor, and they really need it because they have to put up with germs everywhere. And finally, the middle-class, the level that no one ever thinks about, except for the people who are actually in that class.
And that brings us to our topic today:
Insurance for the middle class. They have a bit of money, but not enough for the insurance, and blah blah blah. And just cause they have a dollar over the limit for getting financial aid, they lose the financial aid and they are no where near rich enough to do a medical procedure or go to college. What do you suggest the government/people do to fix the problem for both the middle-class and the poor?
[I'm not sure what medicaid is, and I probably should have done research before writing this, but I'll let you fill me in.]
[additional information that you don't have to pay attention to (remember the first note where I said these posts were as much for me as for you? well, this is one of them) : I'm dubbed the defender of the ugly frosty drink [laughs] How cool is that?]

Ilama, thanks to visit my blog. I not spanish, I'm brazilian.
You are always welcome in my blog.
Sorry, but my english is not good.
Look for you.
Well. First off, you need to make a distinction between "upper" and "lower" middle class. Being from the lower upper middle class as I am, I can safely say that we seem to have enough money for insurance. The lower middle class and the poor class, however, you are right, do not have the funds for insurance, and really they are the ones who need it. Medicine is damned expensive, and not because of production costs, but because of research and labor costs.
Now, how to fix this? Well, there is a system in Canada (and I think maybe France? Not sure on France, but I know Canada) where everyone gets some money taken out of their paychecks. Its like 25% or something, and in turn everyone gets free healthcare. Doctor visits, surgeries, medicine, all of it free.
But, being the US, people care only for themselves, and as such would not be willing to accept helping to pay the poor class' medical expenses T_T Woo! Go America, lol.
[Also, cool about your new title! And the video at the bottom of your blog is really quite good ;) Off to Zelda, she calls my name lol]
thanks for the recommendation. will look up for the book soon.
have a nice day.
